Resources to Support Black Lives Matter
Juneteenth is a celebration of the ending of slavery in the United States. It is a time for us to reflect and take actions to ensure we fulfill the promises our Nation made to create a fair and equitable society:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” — United States Declaration of Independence (1776)
“No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” – 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United State of America (1868)
Our nation has failed to live up to these standards; especially for people of color. Now is the time to act.
In honor of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and the many lives tragically lost we want to utilize our platform and our voice to show our support for the Black community. We stand strongly against racism, discrimination, and injustice. We recognize that to be silent is to be complicit with the violence and threat to the lives and well-being of Black people.
LeadCrunch is an organization that cherishes diversity and inclusion and is willing to stand up for those values when they are threatened. Still, we recognize we can and must do more.
We vow to learn, listen, and educate ourselves long after the spotlight has shifted. We are dedicated to becoming more mindful and inclusive across all aspects of our industry and our organization. We are committed to doing everything we can to foster a better future and lead by example every step of the way.
This change can only happen when people are willing to listen and learn from the struggles of their neighbors and truly seek to understand and grow.
